This is the time of year when studios dump their trash on the market. Beerfest helps to prove that statement; it may be the worst film of the year.
American brothers Todd and Jan Wolfhouse (Eric Stolhanske and Paul Soter) travel to Germany to spread their grandfather's ashes at Oktoberfest. While there they stumble upon Beerfest a secret Olympics of beer drinking. Their cousins, the Von Wolfhausens toss them from the event.
The brothers vow to return and challenge the German branch of the family in the next Beerfest. They also learn their ancestry is somewhat muddled and so is the ownership of the Beerfest itself. All this is revealed by a vulgar Cloris Leachman.
All of the plot is staged to produce an obnoxious, vulgar, silly unfunny film which is difficult to sit through.
