Well don't expect Field of Dreams here - this is a nightmare.

An Adam Sandler production based on the premise that if the actors are kicked between the legs, pick their noses, pass gas and have every other type of inappropriate behavior, a film can be funny. In the first 30 minutes of this film no one laughed and that is sure death for a comedy.

With the help of a former nerd now billionaire, The Benchwarmers are set up to play a series of games against the local teams. As we would expect the underdogs develop a huge following and even win. The remainder is also formula. The billionaire has a skeleton in his closet that threatens to derail the team as they approach the championship; that's as deep as it gets.

Believe me this is a film you don't even want to rent!
