Rated: PG Is safe for the pre-adolescent kids. Parents need not worry. It is as bland as vanilla but the kids will probably enjoy it. Reviewed by: Frank and Chris Release date: October 18, 1991
Vanilla Ice stars in his first motion picture as a biker who dances and sings. He and his bank of friends are stranded in a small town while one of the motorcycles is repaired by an eccentric elderly couple. Ice falls for a young town girl whose father is in a witness protection program.
The script is like a fifties teen film. The hero is misunderstood by the girl's father but comes through in the end and saves the girl from the bad guys. There is little to this simple film, Ice is more like Pat Boone on a motor cycle than Marlon Brando in the Wild One. The film which is rated (PG) is safe for the preadolescent kids. Parents need not worry. It is as bland as vanilla but the kinds will probably enjoy it.
