Rated: PG-13 Due to the intensity of the scenes of medical exploration. Reviewed by: Frank Release date: March 12, 1993 Released by: Paramount Pictures Corporation
The aliens who captured Travis Walton (B.D. Sweeney) must have thought they captured a snail if the characters in the town of Snowflake were as ignorant, coarse and stupid as they are portrayed in this film.
Except for the very short scene which depicts Walton's remembrances of his trip on an alien spacecraft and examination of his body by the aliens, the production has less quality than a TV film. Most scenes are long, dull discussions and overwrought townspeople acting as ignorant as humanly possible. The six men in the sighting party make every silly mistake they can make. They act like Brier Bear and the da ta baby.
This is a dull, disappointing film.
