We can always tell the end of summer by the quality of movies and Good Luck Chuck is a huge red flag warning on the movie screen.
Again, we have Jessica Alba cast (could we guess!), as a scientist. We would think after the Fantastic 4 fiasco, anyone would be a better choice. Sure she has a cute perky body but her attraction ends there. My guess is that adolescent boys hoping for a peek will drive the limited appeal for this film. It certainly can't be her acting ability.
Add in so called comedian Dane Cook, as a man cursed because he would not play spin the bottle as a young teen, and is now cursed to lose any woman he sleeps with, to her next date which will be her "true" love and we have a clear recipe for disaster. Cook's character Charlie has enthusiasm and very often vulgar sex with many women including a very plus size woman with open sores. That scene is enough to force us to loose our lunch.
While the premise of losing any woman one sleeps with to her next lover may be interesting, but the two leads just can not pull it off. This is mostly obnoxious and not funny.
I would even skip the video.
