If Saturday Night Live were to concoct a spoof of macho revenge movies, they could use this script. Steven Seagal's movie family is as much an endangered species as Harry Callahan's partners. In each film the so-called writers must swell up a sufficient anger in the invincible Seagal to send him out to destroy the enemies of society. Each time they play with his family and each time he leaves a trail of broken arms, broken glass, broken furniture, and, in this case, a broken exclusive department store. The film has a great deal of action, but so what--it's just action for action's sake and doesn't play on an emotional level for the audience. Even if you like action films, you will be marked for boredom with this film.
