This film will be reviewed by age. Those males in the eighteen to twenty-four age groups will be most favorable inclined to enjoy the raunchy script. For others this is a repeat of numerous similar films one being The Sure Thing with John Cusack. Even more of this style will be along shortly with Zack and Miri Make a Porno and Fanboys.
Ian (Josh Zuckerman) suffers from retainment of virginity, even his little brother and Lance (Clark Duke) his friend who wears glasses, has a seventies hair style and a round belly are more active with girls than he is. An opportunity comes on line in Knoxville if he can secretly borrow his brother (James Marsden’s) hot GTO for the quick road trip - along for support he brings Lance and Felicia (Amanda Crew).
We know as soon as she is introduced that Felicia is where he will end up. So we struggle through the embarrassment, sensual scenes and language to get to where we know the scrip is leading.
Any film in which Seth Green is the best performer must have something wrong with it, but for those who live in the fantasy of oversexed young men this will be satisfying entertainment. If this doesn’t do the trick there are more coming before the end of the year.
