Marisa Tomei, Academy Award nominee for"My Cousin Vinny carries the Untamed Heart as a young waitress in Minneapolis who falls in love with a reclusive busboy who has a serious heart defect. Christian Slater is the busboy and Rosie Perez is her best friend.

There is nothing special in the script. The two young people are an odd couple but they fall in love and share music, books and hockey together. The two young actors make a special film from the ordinary script. They both are convincing as warm, sensitive, and gentle people who share part of the lies together and are happier for it. Don't expect rockets and miracles. This one is special all on its own, but don't miss it.
