On a planet light years away, Garry Shandling is chosen to fall to Earth through an Arizona Air Line bathroom to impregnate Annette Bening and begin the conquest of human beings.

How Bening keeps a straight face in light of the clumsy simple direct silly lines from Shandling is a tribute to her skill.  She is particularly good at ignoring the vibrating sound which comes from Shandling's groin when he aroused.  John Goodman pursues Shandling, knowing he is an ET.  Ben Kingsley is the stiff mechanical leader of the clones who resemble intellectual Borg on the all male planet.

What begins with somewhat obnoxious language and visuals becomes a love story for the universe and one of the funniest comedies of the year.  Not quite as good as Tim Allen's Galaxy Quest, but it's close.
